Hi! I’m Curro Campuzano Jiménez, and this is a Quarto Blog I’ve made to share my journey in academia:=)

About me

I’m currently a PhD student at Svardal Lab. Previously, I worked in the Department of Environmental Science, where I developed reproducible and automatic pipelines to process meta-transcriptomics data. I completed my master’s in bioinformatics at BiRC, where I focused my thesis on the genomic offset framework and the ecological genetics of thyme. I am also an open-source enthusiast: I like to contribute to the software I use.
